Segmentation and Packaging

GNS has a wealth of experience in segmentation, recycling and packaging of any kind of metallic and ceramic materials from operations and decommissioning. Powerful, state of the art calculation tools allow to predict the radioactivity of components to be dismantled prior to any sampling and measurements and, with a certain benchmarking, reduce measurement and sampling expenditure.

• Dismantling of RPV as well as the RPV internals for the entire PreussenElektra NPP fleet (six plants)
• Dismantling of RPV and internals of the EnBW NPPs Neckarwestheim 1 and Philippsburg I
