In Mülheim an der Ruhr the GNS operates its cask assembly plant. Up to 80 casks of the CASTOR®-type alone as well as other casks and containers can be assembled here annually. The assembly of every CASTOR® casks takes about 3 months. Furthermore cask service staff is trained on a dedicated training station within the Mülheim plant.
