GNS is expecting the last shipment of high active waste from the reprocessing of German fuel assemblies in La Hague, France, due to arrive in Gorleben at the end of November 2011.
On 1stOctober 2011, Dr Hannes Wimmer (47) will become the fourth member and Chairman of the GNS Board of Managing Directors.
