Commercial activities and the areas of legal matters, human resources and IT will continue to be managed by Georg Büth, who has been a member of the GNS Board of Managing Directors since 2008.

When speaking about the new organisation of the GNS Board of Managing Directors, Dr E. h. Bernhard Fischer, the Chairman of the GNS Supervisory Board, stated that: “With this new management and corporate structure, we have put GNS in a powerful position to deal with its increasing number of activities in all aspects of nuclear waste managment in Germany. We would like to wish all members of staff, the Board of Managing Directors and in particular the new Chairman all the best and every success!”
